LONG LIVE OLD SKOOL

DJ GARFIE IS AN EXPERIENCED DJ AND EVENTS ORGANISER FROM IPSWICH, SUFFOLK

A fixture in the Ipswich DJ community for over 15 years, DJ Garfie currently works as a resident DJ at Isaacs on the Quay on Ipswich Waterfront. Perhaps most remembered for his days of the Old Rep,  and many other bars and clubs, you will know that DJ Garfie’s regular mix became the soundtrack of a generation who lived for the weekend.

Connecting the dots between Garage, Dance and RnB sounds from across the 90’s & 00’s, DJ Garfie assaults your senses with a killer combination of good humour and infectious Old Skool music. It is this humour along with his appreciation of different genres and love for everything old skool that has established DJ Garfie as well-respected and loved by all those that know him.

ROMEO DONE. OUR STORY.

What started as a random conversation in The Queen in Brandeston back in August 2016 (with our brand-new puppy, Tamla) has steadily grown to become one of the hottest dates for old skool lovers. Romeo done is regularly referred to as “THE best old skool night in East Anglia” consecutively selling out in advance and providing an unforgettable club night experience.

Ipswich has seen a slow decline in the nightlife over the years with more and more bars closing; what was once a thriving town, has slowly lost its spark. Seeing this, DJ Garfie and his team thought it was about time to inject the ‘life’ back into the Ipswich nightlife scene and to rejuvenate the days of our youth. And so Romeo Done was born.
